About Us

My name is Jason and I am the founder and CEO of Iterate Technologies.  

I created this business with one reason in mind which to be honest with you is quite personal to me. I was sick of seeing others around me fail when it came to technology and I saw a big problem.  

I have been working in the IT industry for over 15 years first as a Helpdesk agent before moving into a Systems Administrator role. I then became an Engineer with mobile security and applications and then was promoted to an IT Operations Manager. Within my experienced time in IT or the "digital world" as they call it now there is one fundamental thing that I have learnt and that is: 

Technology does not slow down for anyone. You need to keep up with it and its not going to wait for you!  

I saw and still see many of my friends and family struggling with new technologies that came around. For example:      

• When I was 16 I had to restart the router for my family to fix the internet that we all used. I was the only one equipped to do this as everyone else seemed too scared to touch the white box with flashing lights.     
• Then in my 20's it was when I used to watch my aunties explain to my grandma how to use her iPhone after she just bought it.     
• In the last few years it's been listening to my friends explaining crypto currencies to my other friends who just invested in it but didn't even know its use or function.
• Just recently the last thing that made me realise that technology moves fast was when my cousin who is under 13 years of age was explaining NFT's to someone my age that wanted to buy one.   

My point is that people are using all of this rapid growing technology around them day and night and not even understanding how it actually works. I too was no expert with everything when I first started to get into technology, but I knew enough to at least understand the concepts. 

Like most people I started googling and watching YouTube videos to understand how specific technologies work. I then started to get very hands on with lots of technologies that I was interested in before gaining a Diploma in IT and Networking and then starting my IT career. I was learning a whole lot and since then I have succeeded in most aspects when it came to technology and its use.

However, there was one thing that I realised which was not everyone learns at the same pace and everyone learns differently. Not everyone is as tech savvy as others and technology can be scary to some people especially when you don't understand it or the concepts behind it. Which is why I created Iterate Technologies. 

I decided I wanted to change something and that was to give people the personal confidence to use the technologies around them and not just provide them with an IT service like most companies do. But also offer the unique hands on, 1 on 1 support so that people are enabled and learn along the way. Educating you and catering to your specific technical need at the same time so that you too learn and understand the fundamentals of technology. In doing this you have the ability and confidence to then implement this yourself in the future also which then saves you costs. 

Everyone learns at their own pace and at Iterate Technologies we do IT different and have a unique approach that no other company does.
